Giuncata, made with fresh milk curds, is tightly wrapped in dried giunchi (rush branches). This cheese, which gets its name from the giunchi in which it’s wrapped, takes on the shape of this wrapping. It has a white colour, a soft texture and an aroma of sweet and delicate fresh milk.
Ingredients: Semi-skimmed cow’s milk, salt, rennet. Preservative free.
Organoleptic qualities: White cheese, with a soft and uniform texture, sweet or bittersweet in taste.
